Helping To Feed The Homeless. Help Us To Help them.

Here is another one of the people on the streets that we recently helped.

We saw this man standing outside a grocery store in Welkom (South Africa), begging passers-by in vehicles for some money to buy food for himself. Nobody seemed to want to really help this man, so we stepped in. We bought him a plate of food (pap, veggies & chicken) and a bottle of coke. The man was so grateful for the gesture. He said that almost nobody had helped him that day, and if it weren’t for us, he would probably have gone to bed hungry.

This is the stark reality we are facing in South Africa at the moment. People need to stop looking the other way, and hoping that the problems we are facing together will simply disappear.

We need to stand together now, more than ever before. This man, could be any one of us at any given point in time. Ignoring this obvious problem, will not make it go away. Yet, if we all give what little bit we may have, we can help many more people that are facing constant hardships.

PAHA aims to eventually expand, and help people all across South Africa, and eventually abroad as well. We do need the people of South Africa to stand behind us and to support us in these endeavors if we are to succeed.
